An invitation to join the Friends team for 2020

The Friends of St George's goals are to raise money to repair and maintain their elegant and historic church building  and to foster a feeling of  togetherness and involvement. within the local community.  Our formula is to put on a stimulating speaker, or film, or visit, often with local relevance, and combine it with a convivial supper  - a chance to eat and drink with friends, old and new.

We warmly invite new people to join the team in making these events happen in 2020 and beyond..

Sally and Ken Richardson will be stepping down after 30th January. They feel that it has been a huge pleasure and privilege to have been involved with the Friends for 29 events since its inception in June 2016.

Their experience is that there are great benefits to the organisers - one makes a host of new friends and feels a sense of belonging in the area.  This is particularly beneficial for those who are newly retired or who have recently moved to Brighton.

So don't be shy. Do step up and make contact.  Email friendsofstgeorgeschurch@gmail.com  or text 07957 811475

From Jan 31st, Sue Clough, our chair, will be looking after this mailing list.

With best wishes to all our subscribers and thanks for you loyalty and support. Without you, Friends would not exist.,

Sally and Ken
