About the event
Robert Forster is a Brisbane based singer-songwriter and author.
In 1978, with Queensland University friend Grant McLennan, he co-founded the acclaimed pop/rock band The Go-Betweens. The group, based in London for five and a half years, recorded six albums and toured extensively.
"I am enormously excited to be touring with a rock band again. The first time in six years. And not just any rock band - there are the genius Swedish players from my new album ‘Strawberries', recorded in Stockholm. I love the album and I wanted to bring the group with me out on the rock and roll highway. We are wanting to impress." Robert Forster.
